“As we commemorate a year of revolution and change in Egypt, rapper The Narcicyst releases this ode to the people of ‘The Mother of the World,” so she is called. With music by Armenian-American LA-Based Producer Bei-Ru, Narcy laments on the struggles of humanity, the day to day hustle of life and the realities we face through our darkest days to see the light. Videographers from Egypt, as well as other who visited the land, all joined forces to helm this video as a time capsule of a people rising from poverty, inequality and political strife. ‘Fly Over Egypt’ was filmed over the span of the last year, and directed by Egyptian-American director Wesam Nassar, Happy (re)birthday Egypt.”
